3. Determine best dimming practices while staying code compliant for a sample non-residential project.
4. Create a complete fixture schedule that is lighting controls friendly for a sample non-residential project
using best practices.
Purpose of the Course:
To help participants understand and utilize best dimming practices when designing a lighting system to comply with current Title 24 Standards while meeting design intent and owner’s expectations. The first part of the session will review mandatory requirements for lighting and lighting controls based on current California Title 24 Non-Residential Standards. The second part of the session will examine different dimming technologies, strategies, and best practices for creating a lighting controls-friendly fixture schedule. There will be discussions on practical applications and examples throughout the session.
